What should young people do?

Everybody underwent the childhood stage. Playing, questioning, experimenting, on things were normal and ordinary activities of a child. Like you and me, also underwent the process of childhood. In this modern world, we young people tend to relax, if things got hooked up were just on 'bahala' mode. So, what should young people do, in times of crises, in times of ups and downs, and especially how to live a better life to live in?

  • Young people need to acquire knowledge and skills in life. One way to grow in wisdom is to take seriously one's opportunity to be educated in school. In this way, acquiring knowledge and skills is not a remote possibility. In school, we students undergo the process of searching for one's true. Self- identity and life purpose.
  • Young people have to learn the value of hard and honest work.
  • Young people have to be physically fit. This requires physical strength. For us young people, to be physically fit is one of the ways to maintain good health and therefore value life. We can do by engaging in sports and different exercises.
  • Young people must treasure their family.  We should value the importance of family life because family remains to be the smallest unit of the society where good characters are supposed to sprang and grow.
  • Young people must realize God's presence in nature. Nowadays, young people must learn how to discover the vastness of God's concern to people through the presence of the nature. Not only that, we should value the importance of caring the environment by planting trees, using recycled materials, disposing the garbage to the proper trash bins, etc. In this manner, we can continue to feel God's presence through nature.
  • Young people must learn from one's life experience. An individual must be careful, vigilant to what happens to him especially for him to be able to distinguish right from wrong, good from evil, moral from immoral.
It is then a challenge for us all to do it so that we may grow in wisdom and grace, and eventually, receives God's blessing in life.

Beauty and Significance of Smallness

"Always remember that small things add up to big sums"

"Make it a principle that small things pave way to greatness"

When we stop and think, we soon realize that big things get accomplished by dint of many small things. Buildings go up, floor by floor, and by analogy, brick by brick. Long distances are covered kilometer by kilometer, and by analogy step by step. Big amounts are accumulated, thousand upon thousand, and by analogy, peso by peso. We need not to go further. We simply reflect how friendship deepens and how love lasts: by building detail upon, and by ensuring that we throw logs and leaves, twigs and branches into the fire to keep the friendship and the love burning. Big dreams are also realized by dints of continuous and persistent small efforts. In fact, big lasting institutions that survived and gathered strength with time generally started small. Their beginnings are humble. The people to start with them are few. But they compensate for their small number and their humble origin with high-minded commitment and street-smart realism to take care of the small things.

Yo, Stop Bullying!

Have you ever experienced being bullied? A tease from a classmate, a brother or sister? Bullying is happening everywhere and the chances that you, that all of us have bullied, been bullied or at least encountered bullying are high. It has become a social disease which is spreading at an uncontrollable pace. We students, should learn valuable skills and lessons from our teachers as well as through interactions with our peers. But in some reasons, there are some experiences, such as bullying, that may negatively affect and stick with the rest of our lives. It has everyone worried, not just the kids on its receiving end. Yet because parents, teachers, and other adults don't always see it, they may not understand how extreme bullying can get. It has a life of its own. It takes no prisoners and its effects can be long lasting and endemic in some cases.Youths have the right to experience love and joy. We have the privilege to experience pain and suffering and consider it as stepping-stone for success.

A LETTER FROM A FRIEND

I just had to write to tell you how much I love you and care for you.
Yesterday, I saw you walking and laughing with your friends; I hoped that
soon you'd want Me to walk along with you, too. So, I painted you a sunset
to close your day and whispered a cool breeze to refresh you. I waited- you
never called- I just kept on loving you.

As I watched you fall asleep last night, I wanted so much to touch you.
I spilled moonlight onto your face- trickling down your cheeks as so many tears
have. You didn't even think of Me. I wanted so much to comfort you.

The next day I exploded a brilliant sunrise into glorious morning for you.
But you woke up late and rushed off- you didn't even notice. My sky became
cloudy and My tears were the rain.

I love you, oh, if you'd only listen. I really love you. I try to say it in the
quiet of the green meadows and in the blue sky. The wind whispers My love through-
out the treetops and spills it into the vibrant colors of all the flowers. I shout it to you
in the thunder of the great waterfalls and compose love songs for birds to sing for you.
I warm you with the clothing of My sunshine and perfume the air with nature's sweet
scent. My love for you is deeper than any ocean and greater than any need in your heart.
If you'd only realize how I care.

My father sends His love. I want you to meet Him- He cares, too. Fathers are
just that way. So, please call on Me soon. No matter how long it takes, I"l wait- because
I LOVE YOU.

Your friend,

Talk about Journlism class

What's about my journalism class? To me my journalism class is sometimes timorous but if our teacher, Sir Gerano is in good mood expect that it is fun. When our teacher goes in our classroom, we have to be prepare, because he randomly pick student to pray personal prayers. In our class, our teacher acquire games, but we have to make sure that we have a whiteboard and a marker. We use it for our games and quizzes . Speaking of quizzes, we have to expect that every meeting we have to examine about news. So, we have to be updated about what's happening in the world. What my teacher hates? Sir Gerano hates when someone yawn in front of him. If you caught be ready!!. He hates also when he see you not in a good manner. So, I would rather choose to be prepare and focus to his discussion. It's just a challenge that when we reach college, we will be ready to meet some techers like Sir Gerano.

Dreams...Dreams...Dreams

When we fall into a deep sleep, we experience dreaming. We call some "sweet dreams" while others are "nightmares". Dreams are doorways +into our inner self. As we come to a deeper understanding of ourselves, our thoughts and ambitions, the meaning of our dreams become clearer and easier to interpret. It is good to know the meaning of our dreams for they ma be revealing a message about our purpose or mission in life. it may also tell something about our future so that we can prepare ourselves for it.
